HOST POOL INFORMATION

Requirements for home host pool:
Pool location must be with in Dane County, WI or Sussex, DE to fill out application.  DO not fill out an application with unless you reside in Wisconsin or Delaware. 

• Pool to be accessible by side gate or walking around to pool location
• Pool must be in-ground
• Allow home pool to be used by survival swim Instructor for minimum of 3hours of use
• Allow instructor to use pool Monday-Friday for same 3 hour block of time each day
• Allow instructor use of pool to be used for full 6 week session
• Pool temperature to be maintained between 78-87 degrees (Heated pool)
• Chemical levels maintained
• Bathroom use not required (no one will be trekking thru your home)
• If inclement weather happens and lesson cancellation occurs Instructor may ask host pool to conduct possible make up lessons as needed on occasional weekends (would happen 1st thing in morning if occurs).

Requirements for Survival Swim Instructor

• Maintain Liability Insurance (will provide copy to home owner)
• Maintain certification (will provide copy to home owner)
• Maintain CPR/AED First Aid certification (will provide copy to home owner)
• Will have each family parent/participant complete liability waiver
• Will conduct survival swim lessons only to those students that have completed the registration requirement
• Advertise session for host pool location

Benefits for host pool:

• Children get reduced or free lessons (value is $600+ per child) – Registration still must be completed by host pool family for each child ($105.00 per child non-refundable no exceptions)
• Do not have to travel to a location for lessons
• You are helping other families add a safety layer of protection for their children
