MEET SURVIVAL SWIM INSTRUCTOR, ALYSSA NEIDER
Alyssa first learned of survival swim lessons when she took her daughter to the local community pool where she then lived in Hawaii and saw a child the same age as her daughter doing swim, float, swim survival swim. Alyssa asked the mom of the little boy questions of where he learned how to swim like that at such a young age, and it was then the mom of the little boy explained to her about local self rescue lessons. Colbie, then began self rescue lessons a few short weeks later, has since completed self rescue swim lessons successfully. Alyssa was so amazed by the lessons she quickly began to research to see if there were any instructors near her hometown of Middleton, WI. Alyssa found that there was only one instructor in the entire state of Wisconsin and it was about a two hour drive from her hometown. In 2014 Alyssa was accepted into the ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) Instructor Training and Development program and passionately pursued becoming a survival swimming instructor to provide these essential life-saving skills to as many children as possible. Alyssa has relocated back to Middleton after moving from Hawaii to provide survival swim lessons to the Madison and surrounding cities. Alyssa is an Army Wife as her husband, Tim (Retired), served in the Army on Active Duty for 20 years. When not instructing survival swim lessons, Alyssa loves to spend time with her husband Tim and 13 year old daughter, Colbie. Alyssa has 2 dogs Kona a Weimaraner and Kala a Belgian Malinois. Alyssa enjoys running, taking her daughter to all the different activities she participates in. Alyssa loves meeting new people, and educating them about the survival swim lessons. Alyssa looks forward to working with your little ones and teaching them survival swim skills as well as a lifelong love for the water. |
